Quiboloy says he’ll face raps only if FBI, US Embassy won’t interfere

MANILA, Philippines — Religious leader Apollo Quiboloy said on Saturday that he will be ready to face his pending cases, as long as no foreign nation interferes.

According to his statement posted on the X (formerly Twitter) page of Sonshine Media Network International, Quiboloy will face his cases in the Philippines as long as his conditions are met.

“Gusto niyo akong lumitaw para harapin ang lahat ng ito? Eto po ang kondisyon ko. Bigyan niyo ako ng garantiya na hindi mangingialam ang mga puti sa kasong ito sa Pilipinas. Hindi mangingialam ang FBI, ang CIA, ang US Embassy,” Quiboloy said.

Quiboloy added that he would rather die at the hands of Filipinos rather than at the hands of Americans.

“Mabuti pang ako ay mamatay sa kamay ng mga Pilipino dito sa ating bansa, tutulo ang aking dugo kaysa ako ay mamatay sa kamay ng mga puti na nasa ibayong dagat, nasa kanilang bansa,” he added.

(It is better that I die in the hands of Filipinos in our country, that my blood drops here than I die in the hands of the Americans in another nation, in their country.)

Currently, arrest warrants have been filed against Quiboloy and his other co-accused companions for their alleged involvement in sexual abuse and child abuse cases.

The FBI in the US also has a wanted poster against him for several cases, including sexual offenses, and fraud and coercion.
