SCTEX portions in Pampanga to be closed from April 28 to 30

MANILA, Philippines — Parts of the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX) in barangay Mabiga, Mabalacat, Pampanga will be closed from April 28 to 30, said the North Luzon Expressway Corporation (NLEX).

According to NLEX Corp., portions of the expressway will be closed to give way to the construction of the Malolos – Clark Railway Project.

“To manage traffic, patrol crews/marshals will be deployed,” NLEX Corp. said in an advisory.

“Directional and safety signs will be put up in strategic areas,” it added.

The Malolos-Clark Railway Project is set to serve as the railway link between Metro Manila and Clark International Airport in Pampanga by 2026.
