Roque  denies Duterte camp role in Marcos ouster plot

MANILA, Philippines – The reported plot by the camp of former president Rodrigo Duterte to oust President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos is just a “hallucination,” former Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said Tuesday.

Roque made the remark after former Senator Antonio Trillanes IV’s allegation that active senior police officials and retired military officials were already recruiting members to join the ouster move.

Trillanes said the Duterte camp is already feeling a sense of urgency with the soon-to-be-issued arrest warrant by the International Criminal Court (ICC).

Duterte and several other senior officials of the previous administration have been named in the ICC complaint for the deaths during the war on drugs.
