Cedric Lee’s co-accused in Vhong Navarro case surrenders to NBI
MANILA, Philippines — Ferdinand Guerrero, co-accused of Cedric Lee in the illegal detention case of actor-TV host Vhong Navarro, has surrendered to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).
The bureau said Guerrero turned himself over last May 16 and manifested his willingness to surrender to NBI Director Medardo G. de Lemos after the Taguig City Regional Trial Court issued a warrant of arrest against him for serious illegal detention for the ransom of Navarro.

“Director de Lemos immediately formed a team composed of NBI International Operations Division (IOD) agents and proceeded to Buendia Ave., Makati City. The accused again stated his willingness to surrender and went peacefully with the NBI agents,” an NBI statement released on Thursday read.
It added that documents are currently being prepared for the return of the warrant to the issuing court.

Lee surrendered to the NBI last May 2, the same day that the Taguig Regional Trial Court found them guilty of serious illegal detention.
