President Benigno Aquino lauded Ombudsman Conchita Carpio Morales for her competence and for supposedly being true to her constitutional mandate in going after grafters in the government.
鈥淪he鈥檚 exhibiting her competence and she鈥檚 doing her job,鈥� he said in an interview with Bombo Radyo in Malaca帽ang.
The President was asked to comment on people involved in the impeachment trial of Chief Justice Renato Corona.
On Corona, who is expected to appear next Tuesday: 鈥淚 hope he tells the truth.鈥�
