Construction worker shot dead in Lucena City over ‘old grudge’

LUCENA CITY – An 18-year-old construction worker was shot and killed on Saturday morning, June 1, in this city allegedly over an old grudge, police said.
In a spot report, Lieutenant Colonel William Angway Jr., Lucena police chief, said that Reymart Molina at around 8:20 a.m. was standing in front of a fast food chain branch along Quezon Avenue that was undergoing renovation.
Suddenly, the suspect, identified as “Jabber”, sneaked from behind and shot Molina on the back of his head using a handgun.
The gunman, a resident of this city, fled on foot after the shooting and left his target dead.
