Police clarifies woman lost consciousness, fell onto LRT 1 tracks
MANILA, Philippines — A 50-year-old woman, initially reported to have “jumped” onto the Light Rail Transit (LRT) Line 1 on Tuesday afternoon, actually lost consciousness and fell onto the train tracks, the Manila Police District (MPD) said.
MPD’s clarification came after the Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC) earlier reported that a female passenger jumped onto the tracks while a train was approaching the southbound lane of Doroteo Jose Station.
