The proposed increases of fees at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia), which is set to be privatized in September, will be evaluated and decided on at the Cabinet-level, according to Manila International Airport Authority spokesperson Chris Bendijo.
Airline and air operators groups have expressed concerns about the rate increases, saying these additional costs would likely end up being passed on to passengers, making Naia one of Asia鈥檚 most expensive airports.
