Pagasa: Fair, warm Tuesday weather

MANILA, Philippines — Fair, warm weather is expected nationwide since no tropical cyclones are expected to form or enter the Philippine area of responsibility in the next few days, the state weather bureau said on Tuesday.

“For the next two to three days, ay wala tayong inaasahang bagyo o low pressure area na makaka-apekto sa ating bansa,” said Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration’s (Pagasa) weather specialist Rhea Torres in an early morning bulletin.

On Tuesday, Pagasa said overcast skies with scattered rain showers are seen in Zamboanga Peninsula and Palawan due to the intertropical convergence zone.

The weather bureau added that Metro Manila and the rest of the country are expected to have fair weather with partly cloudy to cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.

Pagasa did not raise gale warnings nationwide.
