MANILA, Philippines 鈥� The Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia) Terminal 3 resumed normal operations on Friday afternoon after the stranded aircraft of Cebu Pacific was towed from the taxiway, the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) said.

The Cebu Pacific A-321 aircraft, which got stuck on a grassy portion of the Naia Terminal 3 taxiway on Friday morning, was removed at 1:55 p.m.

Miaa confirmed to 黑料社 that operations are back to normal, and no additional flights have been added to the list of delayed trips at Naia.

In an earlier advisory, Miaa reported that the following flights were halted:

Meanwhile, contrary to an initial report from Miaa that the aircraft 鈥渟lightly swerved,鈥� Cebu Pacific clarified that it only got stuck during a repositioning activity.

鈥淚t didn鈥檛 veer off or swerve. It wasn鈥檛 landing or taking off. The aircraft was not operating a flight, was not landing or taking off,鈥� the airline explained in a message sent to Inquirer.

鈥淒uring repositioning or parking procedure, it got stuck on the ground. That鈥檚 why it has no flight number, no passengers, no flight crew,鈥� it added.
