MANILA, Philippines–At least four domestic flights were canceled as of 2:45 p.m. Tuesday, the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) said, citing inclement weather.
The canceled flights were CebGo (DG) 6841/6842 Manila-Siargao-Manila, and DG 6881/6882 Manila-Surigao-Manila.
Earlier, the weather bureau said the low-pressure area (LPA) east northeast of Davao City and the southwest monsoon will cause rains over most areas.
As of 11 a.m., the LPA was forecast to bring moderate to heavy rains over Surigao del Norte. Flooding and rain-induced landslides remained likely.
