3rd Sona: Marcos vows more computers, solar power for education
MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. vowed on Tuesday to close the digital gap in the education sector.
“We are working towards the day when all students will be equipped with computers, smart TVs, essential programs, digital books, and access to reliable power and the internet,” Marcos said in his third State of the Nation Address (Sona).
According to Marcos, digitalization and solar-powered electricity should “become the standard feature in our schools and our classrooms.”
