MANILA, Philippines — No teacher will retire as “Teacher 1” rank under the expanded career progression system for the public school teachers, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. announced in his third State of the Nation Address (Sona).
“With this system in place, we will accelerate the career growth of teachers. Sa sistemang ito, wala nang public school teacher ang magre-retire na Teacher I lamang,” said Marcos.
