MANILA, Philippines — Some roads in Metro Manila will be closed from Friday evening until next week due to reblocking and repair works, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said.
The repairs will be carried out by the Department of Public Works and Highways in the following areas starting at 11 p.m. on Aug. 2 to 5 a.m. on Aug. 5:
Caloocan City
- Gen. San Miguel (eastbound), between Bisig ng Kabataan to A. Mabini St., 1st lane from sidewalk
Makati City
- Edsa (southbound) bus lane, after Ayala Tunnel
Quezon City
- Tandang Sora, after Culiat Highschool to Allan Bean, 2nd lane from sidewalk
- Edsa (southbound), after West Avenue to after MRT North Avenue Station, 4th lane from center
- Edsa (northbound) Annex to Iglesia ni Cristo, 1st lane from center
- Edsa (northbound), Quezon Avenue to Philam footbridge, 2nd lane from sidewalk
- Edsa (southbound), Bansalangin St., to West Avenue, 4th lane from center
- Mindanao Avenue, after Sauyo U-turn, truck lane
- Commonwealth Avenue (southbound), Don Jose to Odigal, 1st lane from center
- Edsa (southbound), Lanutan to Bansalangin, 4th lane from center

“The affected roads will be fully passable by 5 a.m. on Monday, August 5. Motorists are advised to take alternate routes,” the MMDA said.
