MANILA, Philippines — A 37-year-old man, who was unable to go home last July 24 due to flooding brought by the southwest monsoon and typhoon Carina, has been missing since and was last seen in Makati City, according to his sister.

In a series of Facebook posts and a message to , Joy Seraspe said her brother Michael Joseph was last seen in his workplace.

“Nagwo-work po siya sa BPO (business process outsourcing) company sa Makati at ang last message niya po sa amin ay Wednesday, July 24,” she said.

“Binaha yung area namin sa San Mateo, Rizal kaya di siya umuwi. Ang akala ng parents ko ay nasa office siya yun pala hindi na siya nagre-report sa office since July 25,” she added.

(Our area in San Mateo got flooded, so he could not go home. Our parents thought he was just in the office, but he stopped reporting there on July 25.)

Based on Joy’s description, Michael Joseph is 5’10 in height and with a large build, brown complexion, and curly hair.

He was last seen wearing khaki pants and a brown shirt.

Joy appealed to the public to help them locate her brother and contact their family at 0992790371 for any information that could help them locate Michael Joseph.

According to Joy, they had already reported this to San Mateo, Rizal Police Station, and Makati Police Station.
