PASAY CITY, Philippines – Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA) Chief Operating Officer Mark Lapid was one of the distinguished recipients of the 3rd Impact Awards by the OFW Party List and Buhay-OFW Foundation, Inc.
Lapid received both the Exemplary Public Servant Award and the Collaboration Champion Award during the ceremony held on Thursday, September 5 at the Manila Ballroom, Marriott Hotel, Newport, Pasay City.
The Impact Awards were established to recognize individuals, corporations, and government agencies for their significant contributions to the welfare of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and the nation.
Lapid’s recognition was a testament to his outstanding public service and leadership in driving infrastructure projects, particularly those focused on enhancing the Philippine tourism industry through partnerships with local government units.
With over 20 years of public service experience, Lapid played a crucial role in advancing the country’s tourism infrastructure.
During his tenure as COO of TIEZA, numerous projects were successfully implemented to improve local tourism and empower communities across the Philippines, making him a deserving recipient of the Collaboration Champion Award.
His unwavering dedication to public service, integrity, and professionalism was also acknowledged through the Exemplary Public Servant Award.
