PPCRV Chairman Emeritus Henrietta De Villa also expressed that voting plays a crucial role in upholding the democracy of the country.

“Ang bansa ay hindi uunlad pag hindi magkaisa ang mga mamamayan. Ang ating demokrasya ay hindi magiging ganap hangga’t ang ating mga botante na Pilipino ay hindi matutong bumoto nang wasto,” De Villa said.

The PPCRV chairperson also called the Tibok Pinoy books the “heart” of the council’s voter’s education program.

“We believe that if we instill our core Filipino values to the minds and hearts of young people, we can guide them to become the champions of change that our country urgently needs,” she added.

Tibok Pinoy is a series of books for a “model Filipino” namely God-loving, honest, respectful, hardworking, helpful, and nationalistic. The other books for a “model netizen” are for discerning, mindful, and safe usage of social media.

The books also have their digital copies uploaded on the website of PPCRV (ppcrv.org).
