These efforts are the result of onsite assessments, conducted by volunteers under the Linang Program. In August, Manila Water and MWF sent a team of WASH Technical Volunteers to gather data and assess its water supply status, which included possible water sources, chokepoints in transmission, geological challenges, and even temporary water allocation. Recently, former Vice President and Angat Buhay Foundation Chairperson Atty. Leni Robredo also visited Manila Water wherein MWF and the Manila Water technical panel presented the situation report and provided recommendations, to address the water supply problem in Naga City.

Manila Water Foundation’s Lináng is a technical mentorship synergy to strengthen local government units, local water districts, and WASH groups. It bridges MWC’s technical excellence to improve the WASH partner’s operations, maintenance, and management of water supply and sanitation systems. MWF’s Lináng enhances WASH capabilities to improve water service delivery especially for underserved communities.
