Dismissed Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo was transferred from the Philippine National Police (PNP) Custodial Center in Camp Crame, Quezon City to Pasig City Jail on Monday.
According to PNP, Guo — whose real name is Guo Hua Ping — will be staying at the female dormitory of the Pasig City jail in Barangay Pinagbuhatan after over two weeks of detention in the PNP Custodial Facility.
Commuters in parts of Metro Manila left stranded amid transport strike
Many commuters in different parts of Metro Manila were left stranded amid a two-day transport strike organized by transport groups Manibela and Piston.
The strike is in protest of the government’s Public Transport Modernization Program (PTMP).

The police in Davao are preparing at least 200 cases of obstruction of justice, disobedience and other violations committed by various personalities here who tried to delay or hamper the arrest of pastor Apollo Quiboloy, including those who knew his whereabouts but concealed him from the police before and during the 16-day police operations.
Police Brig. Gen. Nicolas Torre III, director of the Davao Police Regional Office (PRO 11), told reporters on Sunday that he would gather all these cases in a command conference he called here on Monday, where he would ask police directors in the region to file as many as 10 cases each against personalities who hampered the police search for the pastor inside his vast Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KJC) compound here.
