Phivolcs detects weak phreatic eruption at Taal Volcano
Taal Volcano in Batangas province had another minor phreatic eruption on Sunday, Oct. 6, amid ongoing unrest since last week, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
In its Monday morning bulletin, Phivolcs reported that the steam-driven eruption, locally called 鈥減usngat,鈥 only lasted a minute.
