MANILA, Philippines — Manila North and South Cemeteries will be open from October 30 to November 3, the local government of Manila said on Sunday afternoon.

The local government also issued an advisory reminding the public about the dos and don’ts during the All Saints’ Day and All Souls Day observance.

In a Facebook post, the Manila government said the cemeteries will be open from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. Vehicles will not be allowed inside the cemeteries, while burials and cremations will be temporarily suspended rom October 30 to November 3.

Cleaning, repairs, and painting inside the cemeteries are only allowed until October 26, and vendors will be barred from entering the premises of the cemeteries.

In case of emergency, ambulances and doctors from the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office and Manila Health Department will be on standby, as well as the hospitals in Tondo, Sampaloc, and Sta. Ana.

The Manila government also said the city’s police district will have skeletal personnel in the areas starting October 27 and full force on October 30.
