MANILA, Philippines — Fire hit the Mary Chiles General Hospital in Sampaloc, Manila on Tuesday morning, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) reported.
The BFP said the blaze started inside the hospital along Dalupan St. at 6:48 a.m. and reached the first alarm at 6:51 a.m.
The fire reached the second alarm at 7:01 a.m. and was placed under control at 7:08 a.m.

The BFP said the blaze was extinguished at 7:20 a.m.
Fire authorities have yet to provide other details as of this writing, but at least 13 trucks and an ambulance responded to the scene.
