SANTA MAGDALENA, Sorsogon鈥擳hree people have been reported missing as Tropical Storm Kristine unleashed heavy rains across Sorsogon province, Governor Edwin Hamor announced in a press conference at the provincial operations center on Wednesday, Oct. 23.
Hamor said two fishermen went missing in Casiguran town, while a driver disappeared in Irosin town.
鈥淲e cannot declare them as casualties yet because they haven鈥檛 been found. We鈥檙e still unsure if anything bad has happened,鈥� Hamor clarified.
Further details on the missing individuals were not disclosed.
Raden Dimaano, head of the provincial disaster risk reduction and management office, added that Sorsogon currently has 鈥渮ero casualties.鈥�
