Wanky also announced changes to the height requirements for applicants, making it easier for more people to qualify.

The minimum height for female applicants has been reduced to five feet, while male candidates now need only be five feet two inches tall, both lower than the previous standards.

Wanky reiterated that the recruitment process is free and warned applicants to be wary of scammers looking to exploit hopefuls by offering assistance in exchange for money.

“I would like to remind applicants that there are no fees when applying. Do not approach anyone offering help in exchange for money,” he emphasized.

Those who successfully make it through the recruitment process can expect a starting salary of P29,668 per month as patrolmen or patrolwomen.
