Malacañang suspended work in government offices and classes in all levels in Luzon on Friday, October 25, still due to the effects of Severe Tropical Storm Kristine (international name: Trami).

MANILA, Philippines — Malacañang suspended work in government offices and classes in all levels in Luzon on Friday, October 25, still due to the effects of Severe Tropical Storm Kristine (international name: Trami).

However, agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, preparedness/response to disasters and calamities, and/or the performance of other vital services were directed to continue their operations and render the necessary services.

The suspension of work for private companies and offices is left to the discretion of the management.

Kristine maintained its strength as it remained over the waters of Southern Ilocos Sur, based on Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration’s 5 p.m. bulletin.
