MANILA, Philippines — Over 300 residents in Valenzuela City were moved to evacuation centers within the city on Thursday evening due to flooding brought by Severe Tropical Storm Kristine (international name: Trami).
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the local government of Valenzuela reported that 96 families or 319 individuals were transferred to three elementary schools and one covered court.

Broken down, 114 people are currently taking shelter at Bartolome Covered Court in Barangay Veinte Reales, 11 at Luis Francisco Elementary School, six at Lingunan Elementary School, and 188 at Valenzuela National High School.
