LIST: Philippine special non-working days, nat’l observances in 2025

MANILA, Philippines — Malacañang on Friday released a list of special (non-working) days for 2025 as well as three new national observances.

The following dates will be observed as special (non-working) days in various locations:

  • Tanay, Rizal – November 8
  • Valenzuela City – November 12
  • Oriental Mindoro – November 15
  • Borongan, Eastern Samar – November 15
  • Palayan City, Nueva Ecija – November 22, December 5
  • Itogon, Benguet – November 22
  • Tublay, Benguet – November 22
  • Province of Benguet – November 23
  • Maragusan, Davao de Oro – November 25
  • Dasmariñas, Cavite – November 26
  • Sarangani – November 28
  • Piñan, Zamboanga del Norte – November 28

Additionally, the following national observances are recognized annually:

  • National Myopia Consciousness Week – Second week of October of every year
  • Transport Cooperative Day – 19th day of October of every year
  • Philippine Architecture Festival – National Architecture Month – December of every year
