SC suspends court operations in areas affected by Typhoon Marce

Some areas in Northern Luzon suspended court operations on Thursday due to the inclement weather brought by Typhoon Marce (international name: Yinxing), the Philippine Supreme Court Public Information Office said.

MANILA, Philippines — Some areas in Northern Luzon suspended court operations on Thursday due to the inclement weather brought by Typhoon Marce (international name: Yinxing), the Philippine Supreme Court Public Information Office said.

Below are the suspended work operations:

Cagayan

Batanes

Ilocos Sur

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said in its 2 p.m. weather update that Marce is approaching northeastern part of Cagayan and will make a landfall by Thursday afternoon or Friday early morning.

Marce was last spotted 175 kilometers east of Aparri, Cagayan, packing maximum sustained wind of 165 kilometers per hour (kph) and gustiness of up to 205 kph.
