LUCENA CITY — Police anti-illegal drug operatives arrested two suspected big-time traffickers in separate buy-bust operations on Saturday in Cavite province and seized more than P1.3 million worth of shabu (crystal meth) and a car.

A report by the Cavite police provincial office Sunday said drug enforcement unit in Dasmariñas City collared “Alberto” at 8:30 p.m. after he sold P1,000 worth of shabu to a poseur buyer in a transaction in Barangay (village) Salitran 4.

The operatives seized from the suspect three plastic sachets containing shabu weighing 102 grams worth P703,800 and a digital weighing scale.

Earlier in Imus City, anti-narcotics agent busted “Tope” in a sting operation in Barangay Malagasang 2-B around 6:03 p.m.

The suspect yielded one sachet of meth weighing 90 grams worth P612,000.

The police also confiscated a car believed to have been used by the suspect in his illegal drug business.

Both suspects are listed on the police drug watch list as “HVI” or high-value individuals in the local drug trade.

The Cavite police are conducting further investigations to determine the source of the illegal drugs.

The suspects are under police custody and facing charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
