MANILA, Philippines — Fire hit a residential area in Isla Puting Bato in Tondo, Manila on Sunday morning, according to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).
In a report, fire authorities said the blaze started around 8 a.m. and reached the first alarm at 8:02 a.m.

It reached the third alarm by 8:10 a.m. and fifth alarm shortly after at 8:16 a.m.
As seen in the video the Manila Public Information Office shared, the blaze continues to devour houses in the area as of 9 a.m.
Authorities have yet to provide other details as of writing.
At least 20 trucks and an ambulance have arrived in the area.
