MANILA, Philippines — The Land Transportation Office (LTO) – National Capital Region (NCR) has recorded a 1.39 percent increase in its revenue collection from January to October this year compared to the same period in 2023.
According to the LTO, its NCR office has reached a P7.73 billion revenue this year, surpassing the collection last year worth P7.62 billion.
“Most of the revenue came from registration and licensing fees, which amounted to P6,898,639,097.16 and P744,738,912.00, respectively,” Annabelle Quevedo, chief of the Financial Management Division at LTO-NCR, said on Sunday.
She added that the Law Enforcement and Traffic Adjudication System contributed P72,989,545, while the Motor Vehicle Inspection Center added P14,032,990.
The LTO also recently held its annual Cashiers’ Conference and Gender and Development Seminar in Quezon City.
The agency said the seminar is geared at equipping cashiers with knowledge on managing “public funds effectively and securely, while also recognizing and rewarding outstanding performance in revenue collection.”
