DAVAO CITY – An attempt to rescue a Malaysian allegedly held illegally in a warehouse in Panabo City, Davao del Norte, led to the discovery of a suspected Philippine offshore gaming operator (Pogo) hub.
A team from the National Bureau of Investigation Southeastern Mindanao Regional Office (NBI- Semro) raided a warehouse in Panabo’s Purok 6, Barangay Manay, at 2 a.m. on Friday and rescued 60 individuals who were suspected to be employed for an illegal Pogo operation.
