LUCENA CITY 鈥� A motorcycle rider died after his vehicle crashed into the wet and slippery road on a rainy Sunday, Dec. 8, in Infanta, Quezon, police said.
The Quezon police reported that Renz Bataluna, 23, was traversing an uphill section of the wet road in Barangay (village) Binulasan around 12:18 a.m.
The rider lost control of his vehicle, was thrown off, and then landed on the pavement.
He sustained fatal head injuries and died while being taken to a hospital.
The police did not say whether or not Bataluna was wearing a crash helmet, which is required by the Motorcycle Helmet Act of 2009.
Bataluna聽was a resident of Antipolo City, Rizal.
