MANILA, Philippines — Vice President Sara Duterte on Wednesday said she does not regret revealing her kill remarks against President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and his family.

“No, buti na ‘yung alam nila na ‘pag namatay ako (it’s good that they already know so if I die), I will not die in vain,” Duterte said in a press conference when asked if she regrets making remarks about hiring someone to kill Marcos and his family.

Duterte made the pronouncement despite being investigated by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) over the same remarks.

The NBI is probing whether Duterte committed grave threats under Article 282 of the Revised Penal Code in relation to Section 6 of the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10175) or violated the Anti-Terrorism Act of 2020 (RA 11479).
