CharityPhilippines.org marks 2 years of bridging donors to causes
It takes several hours, first by car, then by boat, by tricycle, and finally by foot to reach Sitio Casili, a remote Dumagat community in Rodriguez (Rizal) that is home to an estimated 100 indigenous children. The journey is long, the roads are rough, and the body becomes tired.
But once the volunteers see the children of the Dumagat running toward them, children whose dreams are to be teachers, lawyers, and advocates themselves; all the effort becomes worth it.
For the people behind CharityPhilippines.org, these stories, are what they work for every day.
CharityPhilippines.org, the first charitable online crowdfunding platform in the Philippines, aims to connect donors with projects they care about, working alongside other charities to help those in need.
In fact, since CharityPhilippines.org (CPO) was launched in October 2022, it has raised more than P7 million for over a hundred charitable projects, with diverse causes ranging from child malnutrition to abandoned elderly care, and everything in between — including animal welfare and disaster response.

For example, one of CPO’s recent campaigns that partnered with Grain Foundation for PWDs gave e-bikes to microentrepreneurs with disabilities in Quezon City, helping them easily purchase raw materials and transport finished products. In another instance, CPO, partnering with God’s Sanctuary for Stray Animals, raised enough funds to provide food and care for approximately 800 abandoned cats and dogs in their shelter in Laguna.
As the Philippines’ pioneer online crowdfunding platform for charities, CharityPhilippines.org works with a large spectrum of partner organizations, from long-established ones like Caritas Manila, Tanging Yaman Foundation, Resources for the Blind, and the Philippine Relief and Development Services (PHILRADS), to emerging groups such as The Street Classroom in Marinduque and Share a Spoon in Rizal.
But unlike other charity websites, CPO shoulders all transactional and operational costs so that partner organizations receive the entire amount of funds donated to them.
As CPO moves into its third year, it remains committed to increasing its reach by working with more NGOs and partner organizations to address more of the disenfranchised. It seeks to inspire potential donors, from people as near as next-door neighbors to someone as far away as the United Kingdom.
And most of all, it is working towards being the preferred online charity platform for the Philippines with no fees and deductions.
By bridging donors to worthy causes, CharityPhilippines.org aims to build a future where everyone helps everyone in need, fulfilling its vision of a supportive community for all.
