Marcos also encouraged openness to innovation and learning to remain competitive on the global stage.

“When faced with new technology, we should not feel intimidated. Instead, we must keep an open mind and be willing to learn so we can keep up with the rest of the world,” Marcos stressed.

Patriotism was another key value Marcos highlighted, urging Filipinos to contribute to their communities in meaningful ways.

From helping local schools to improving barangays, he stressed that small efforts can make a significant impact when combined.

“Love for the country can also be shown through the duties we perform. Strive for excellence in your work,” Marcos urged.

“The meaning of discipline and excellence becomes deeper when anchored in love for the Philippines,” he added.

Marcos concluded by challenging Filipinos to embody these values, asserting that building a “new Philippines” is only possible with the rise of a “new Filipino.”

“The new Filipino is disciplined, excellent, and loves the country. There is no new Philippines without a new Filipino,” he said.
