MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga — Two men in this city and three others in nearby City of San Fernando were arrested for possession of some P580,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) in separate anti-illegal drug operations on Tuesday, Jan. 14.
In a statement on Wednesday, the Pampanga police said the two men were arrested in Dapdap village here after selling shabu to an undercover policeman.
Some 15 grams of suspected shabu with a street value of P102,000 were allegedly confiscated from the alleged drug pushers.
In San Jose village, City of San Fernando, policemen arrested a “high-value individual” in a buy-bust operation that resulted in the seizure of 55 grams of suspected shabu worth P374,000.
Another operation in Maimpis, San Fernando, resulted in the arrest of two persons and confiscation of P102,000 worth of suspected shabu.
The Pampanga police said charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 would be filed against the five suspects.
