MANILA, Philippines — Several areas in Metro Manila and Rizal will experience water interruptions from January 20 to 24 due to scheduled emergency repairs and maintenance, the Manila Water Company announced on Monday.
In an online advisory, Manila Water encouraged residents in the following areas to store water in preparation for service interruptions:
Marikina City
- January 20, 10 p.m. to January 21, 6 a.m.
- Parts of Brgy. Marikina Heights
Quezon City
- January 21, 10 p.m. to January 22, 4 a.m.
- Brgy. E. Rodriguez
Pateros
- January 23, 10 p.m. to January 24, 4 a.m.
- Parts of Brgy. Santo Rosario Silangan (M. Lozada Sampaguita, Rosal, F. Avila, C. Lorenzo)
Binangonan, Rizal
- January 20, 10 p.m. to January 21, 4 a.m.
- Brgy. Darangan
- Brgy. Macamot
- January 21, 10 p.m. to January 22, 4 a.m.
- Brgy. Tayuman

“After the activity and once water service is restored, please conduct flushing by letting the water flow out of your taps for a few minutes until it becomes clear,” Manila Water reminded in its advisory.
