Marcos pardons Mabilog who was linked to illegal drugs by Duterte

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. pardoned former Iloilo City Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog, who was linked to the drug trade by the Duterte administration.

In a Viber message to reporters Monday, Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin confirmed reports that Marcos granted executive clemency 鈥 presidential pardon, to be exact 鈥 to Mabilog.

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) has successfully kept a Chinese vessel illegally operating off Zambales from nearing the province鈥檚 coastline, as it spotted the 鈥渕onster ship鈥 a few nautical miles away.

鈥淲e have monitored around 24 Filipinos who have been deported from the United States due to their involvement in certain criminal activities, although these were not classified as very serious offenses,鈥 Romualdez said in an interview with dzBB on Sunday.
