4 suspects yield P2.7M ‘shabu,’ guns in Pampanga
MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga — A police buy-bust operation on Saturday night resulted in the arrest of four armed men and the seizure of some P2.7 million worth of suspected shabu (crystal meth) in Bacolor town in this province.
In a statement, the Pampanga police said they conducted the sting operation at Cabetican village, where they confiscated loaded short firearms.
Police operatives led by the provincial drug enforcement unit allegedly confiscated 402 grams of suspected shabu from the arrested persons.
The police also seized from them three handguns with live bullets and impounded the gray Hyundai car they were using.
The Pampanga police said charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act, as well as gun ban violation, would be filed against the arrested persons. INQ
