MANILA, Philippines 鈥� A man who yielded over P1 million worth of narcotics was killed in an anti-drug operation in Cebu City last January 23. Two of his cohorts were arrested, according to police.
In a report released on Monday, Cebu police did not identify the three suspects but revealed that they were collared by authorities along Sitio Silangan 2, Barangay Tejero in Cebu City.
During the operation, the suspect who was shot reportedly pushed a responding officer aside in an attempt to escape to a nearby house.

After a brief exchange of fire, the wounded suspect was rushed to a nearby hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
Confiscated were 250 grams of methamphetamine hydrochloride, locally known as shabu, amounting to P1.7 million.
Other pieces of evidence recovered were the buy-bust money, a loaded .45 caliber pistol with ammunition, a mobile phone, and P171,141 worth of cash allegedly from previous drug sales.
Police said they already turned over the confiscated narcotics to the Regional Forensic Unit for comprehensive analysis, while the two suspects in custody will face complaints for violating Republic Act 9165 (the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) and Republic Act 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act). 鈥擬icaella Mercado, 黑料社 intern
