MANILA, Philippines 鈥斅� President Ferdinand 鈥淏ongbong鈥� R. Marcos Jr. has named retired Maj. Gen. Isagani Nerez as the new chief of the
Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin confirmed this in a Viber message to reporters on Tuesday.
Nerez took his oath at Malaca帽ang earlier in the day. He will replace Director General Moro Virgilio Lazo.
In 2022, Nerez was appointed by Marcos as undersecretary of the Office of the Presidential Adviser on Military Affairs.
