Cavite cops seized P452,000 worth of shabu from 4 suspects

LUCENA CITY — Two suspected drug pushers were arrested on Saturday, Feb. 8, and yielded more than P267,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) in a buy-bust operation in Dasmarinas City in Cavite province.

The Police Regional Office 4A (PRO-4A) reported that anti-illegal drugs operatives held “Nash” and “Elvis” at 6 p.m. after they sold P500 worth of shabu to a poseur buyer in Barangay San Agustin 3.

The operatives seized from the suspects, both identified street-level drug pushers in the locality, three plastic sachets containing shabu that weighed 39.35 grams and were worth P267,580 as per the valuation of the Dangerous Drugs Board.

The suspects are under police custody and are facing complaints of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2001.
