MANILA, Philippines – In a significant achievement for the city’s educational framework, Quezon City has been awarded the esteemed Seal of Good Education Governance (SGEG) by the Synergeia Foundation.
This accolade not only recognizes the city’s extraordinary efforts in advancing quality education but also fortifies its status as a frontrunner among local government units (LGUs) in the Philippines.
The SGEG, which was awarded in partnership with notable organizations including Metro Pacific Investments, Meralco, and mWell, acknowledges LGUs that exhibit pioneering leadership, robust community collaboration, and effective programs designed to enhance educational outcomes.
Mayor Belmonte expressed her pride in receiving the recognition, stating, “This acknowledgment reflects Quezon City’s unwavering dedication to providing every child with quality education. It inspires us to continue building a more inclusive and dynamic learning environment for our students.”
