MANILA, Philippines 鈥� Senatorial candidate and Las Pi帽as Rep. Camille Villar is pushing for the modernization of agribusiness and the creation of more rural jobs to transform farming into a profitable, high-tech, and sustainable industry for Filipino farmers.

If elected, Villar will push for:

- Low-interest loans and direct market access for small farmers
- Stronger farm-to-market infrastructure and digital platforms Expansion of agri-processing, eco-tourism, and cooperatives
- Youth and women鈥檚 participation in agri-business
She emphasized that rural job creation is key to reducing poverty and decongesting cities, ensuring that families can thrive in their own communities.
