MANILA, Philippines — Davao City Mayor Sebastian Duterte on Thursday claimed that President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s administration is putting the lives of Filipinos at risk and pulling them back into an abusive government.
Former President Rodrigo Duterte’s son made the remark during the proclamation rally of Partido ng Demokratiko Pilipino senatorial bets at Club Filipino in San Juan City.
(More than four decades ago, the PDP was formed and stood firm against the oppressive regime of Ferdinand Marcos Sr. Today, the lives and future of Filipinos are once again being put at risk.)
