3 drug suspects yield shabu worth P258,000 in Cavite, Batangas
LUCENA CITY — Police seized more than P258,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) from three suspected drug traffickers who were arrested on Saturday in buy-bust operations in Cavite and Batangas provinces.
The Police Regional Office 4A (PRO-4A) reported that anti-illegal drugs operatives in Dasmarinas City in Cavite held alias “Emmanuel” at 11 p.m. after he sold P500 worth of shabu to an undercover cop in Barangay Langkaan 2.
The suspect was found in alleged possession of three plastic sachets containing shabu weighing 28 grams worth about P190,400.
The report tagged Emmanuel as included in the police drug watch list as a newly identified HVI or high-value individual in the local drug trade.
HVI refers to financiers, traffickers, manufacturers, and importers of illegal drugs or leaders/members of drug groups.
In Tanauan City in Batangas, a local drug enforcement unit busted “Crisanto” and “Roy” in a sting operation in Poblacion 2 at 8 p.m.
Article continues after this advertisementThe suspects, both classified as street-level drug pushers, were caught with five sachets of meth weighing 10 grams valued at P68,000.
All suspects are under police custody and are facing complaints of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
