In an advisory posted on its website, Manila Water said the water supply interruptions are caused by line maintenance works, zero pressure test, network maintenance or valving, pipe maintenance, step testing, and line meter replacements.
The following areas will be affected by the service interruptions, according to the water firm:

Manila Water services the East Zone concession — a 1,400-square-kilometer area that covers 23 cities and municipalities in Metro Manila and Rizal.
Among these areas are Mandaluyong, Makati, Pasig, Pateros, San Juan, Taguig, Marikina, and parts of Quezon City and Manila.
The towns of Angono, Baras, Binangonan, Cainta, Cardona, Jalajala, Morong, Pililia, Rodriguez, Tanay, Taytay, Teresa, San Mateo, and Antipolo in the province of Rizal are also part of the East Zone.
