MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. is “evaluating” the need for a change of leadership in his Cabinet, the Palace said on Tuesday.
Palace Press Officer Claire Castro made the pronouncement during a Palace press conference amid rumors of changes in government posts, particularly the Cabinet.
“The President is still evaluating if there’s a need for a change of leaders in each department. So, we are not there yet; everything is under evaluation,” she said.
Among those whose status was asked included Information and Communications Technology Secretary Ivan Uy, but Castro said the Presidential Communications Office has yet to receive any information regarding this.
