LUCENA CITY — The police have started looking for a dog owner who shot and injured a teenage boy whose father threw a stone at his pet in Siniloan, Laguna, on Wednesday.

A report from the Region 4A police on Thursday said the victim, Vincent Parungao, his father, and step-mother were walking on their way home around 11:30 p.m. in Barangay Halayhayin when a dog owned by “Dondon” tried to bite the victim.

The boy’s father, who was unidentified in the report, took a stone and threw it at the dog. The suspect, who saw the incident, drew a handgun and fired a single shot, hitting the victim on the right side of his body.
